Description: Goldplated Imperial prototype FP

This pen is a production prototype in the goldplated Imperial pattern of alternating grouped lines with space. It is marked with a prototype identification number D-3286 on the cap and barrel.

Here you can see the prototype ID number. Also, you can see that the cap has a slightly different goldplating than the barrel and thus is not as yellow in color.

Here is a better picture of the faint ID inscription on the barrel.

This pen has the familiar triangular gripping section with the chrome band and rule lines, but without the reference 0 mark. Nib is 14K US Extra Fine in size.

The condition is good, and only the pen is available. As a prototype, there are no papers or box.
